GWTS welcomes all ages but those aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Chicldren and young person tickets are not available unless added to a sale including an adult ticket. Persons believed to be under the age of 14 will not be able to enter or exit the venue unless accompanied by an adult and will be deemed a lost child.

Parents know they are attending a tattoo convention and that their children will be able to see live tattooing. Tattooing cannot be viewed by any child under 14 who doesn’t hold an accompanied ticket.

Intimate tattooing and piercing will not take place at GWTS.

Children will not be permitted in artist booths (tables will show the booth boundary and restrict access).

Persons aged 17 or under will not be tattooed under any circumstances and anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 will show identification (passport or driving licence) which will be recorded with their consent form which is also available to artists online.

Lost children or vulnerable people in distress will be escorted (if possible) to the event main entrance and the relevant location and code used on the radio.

A TS will take responsibility for the young person and summon the OM. The TS or OM will allocate an uncommitted ETM to stay with them and the child until reunited with the responsible adult or relevant authority.

If required the ticketing system holds details of the accompanying adults and contact numbers and can be used to identify the correct person.

The venue Public Address system will be used for announcements if required but should not refer to children or give names, personal details or descriptions.

Identification should be requested from the collecting adult and recorded. If resistance to this is met or the child is reluctant to go with the adult the OM will call the police.
