Most ETMs are volunteers and will receive specific guidance and training from their respective TS. All ETMs will undertake ACT Awareness and SCaN training.
They will be undertaking the following tasks –
Entry and exit monitoring – ensuring all entering have relevant wristbands relating to the specific entrance.
Public enquiries – directing the public to specific locations or the information desk
Reporting – reporting equipment or building issues to the GWTS management team.
Monitoring – monitoring waste management and levels.
Ticket checking and wristband issue – scanning tickets and issuing the correct wristband.
Sales – selling GWTS tickets and merchandise.
All ETMs at locations marked on the site plan will be provided a high viz vest and a radio (per location) to ensure they are identifiable and connected to the management team.
ETMs will carry out hourly duties on different roles / areas with breaks and food and drink provided. This will be managed by the Steward Coordinator.
ETMs will be briefed according to their role by a member of the GWTS management team at the start of each day or prior to a change of task.
